Heather completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (with distinction) specializing in Print Media at the Alberta College of Art and Design.  As a printmaker and mixed media artist, Heather enjoys playing with metaphor and creating visual dialogues between image and imagination, seeking to translate her experiences and explorations into visual images. Human dilemmas and universal themes of metamorphosis and transformation are recurring motifs, and are meant to resonate with the viewer--enticing him or her to reflect further about what it means to be human.
